Lesson One: You are First

I know it's easier said than done, but be okay with putting yourself first. Love yourself. Fuel yourself. Be for yourself before you rush to love, fuel, and be everything for someone else. You should be your first love because when you love yourself truthfully, you value everything you are. And what you value shouldn't be wasted or spent frivolously. You should be the most important thing in your life. Let everyone and everything else follow behind on that list. When they try to take your spot, don't let them. Because then, they're doing it for their benefit, and at your expense.
